-Dropped GPU temperature by 15 deg C under max load -Far superior to Arctic Silver and MX4
cheap price, deliver fast, hold my part good. cool down my CPU quick
Why did I pick this? I was intrigued by this so I bought it. Sure, its pricier than most pastes. There is a thick plastic side and a thin plastic side. I cut the piece to size and used a sharp utility knife to pre-peal the thin plastic side and fold the corner. I wiped the die with the enclosed alcohol pad, pealed the thick plastic side, centered the pad, used the spatula to press it down and then grabbed the pre-folded edge of the thin plastic to remove. It wasnt too bad. I dont know if it works better as I have not compared it to regular thermal paste but I am satisfied that I got an appropriate amount between the CPU and the cooler.
I was skeptical at first. 18 w/mk and 0.01 resistance sounded too good to be true for a paste. It's not. 7800X3D - TMJ @65c, PBO -30. Idles around 36c, rarely hits 56-58C under load or loading a game. AIO - Deepcool LT720 running 3 push, 3 pull fans on the lowest (Silent) MoBo setting. Cities: Skylines 2 - sits around 50c. So 49-51c. Starfield - 48-52c. Jameson and Akila City, doing what they do. XFX rx 6700 XT SFT 309 - shaved a few celsius off the overall temp range. Would hit 65-68C with stock paste, aggressive fan curve and ingame settings adjusted down for performance/frames. Now sits around 60-61c, fan curve set to %45 for that temp range. In both Cities 2 and Starfield. Same settings. The tube I received was non conductive as advertised. Made a mess, cleaned it up. Still had a little where it shouldn't be. Turned my PC on anyway. Stupid, but that's how I know.
Very good thermal transfer. Also, you dont need much, a thin layer will do. Stock AMD Ryzen 7 Gen 3 3700x, during full load never got above 75 degrees C. I am not running the stock heatsink.
More than enough paste for multiple applications.
I was surprised but this product actually functions better than paste. I have used this product on an AMD 7700X and also on the a newer i7 14700KF, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. No mess and I am chronic over paste the processor kind of guy, so when I just need to place on and it works, I was very happy.
It's the company that i ordered through newegg with= BKTech that I'd like to praise. they sent notifications to me (besides the regular newegg ones) about the status of the order and the delivery. the processing was prompt, the delivery was quick, and the product package is in perfect condition. the Arcticlean kit is great, of course, but the company that you're dealing with through newegg, is excellent.
No matter what you are using it on, the only thing better than this paste is liquid metal. There is no compromise.
Easy to use, superior thermal performance.
I did notice a change in temps but not very much. At best, 5-6 degrees. At worst, 1 or 2.
