My old battery died out. It very simply to replace the old battery with the one I bought from newegg. The UPS works like news now and I did not have to dump my UPS in the landfills.








Remove the cover from the APC UPS , one screw needs to be removed, and the batteries can be exchanged while the attached users are in operation. No need to turn anything off as long as the power is available from the 110 V source.






It works. It came fully charged (APC's literature made it seem like it would have to be charged for 6-8 hours before running self-test.)
