Punching down a 110 panel in an IDF mounted up on a wall is a giant pain in the posterior. We're using inline keystone couplers from SEVERAL different sources and the TrippLite blank is perfectly dimensioned to work with quality keystones. Terminating the cable to standard RJ45 connectors is a lot easier on the techs and the cables easier to keep tidy even on top of a scissorlift.

Very reliable

I have always hated keystones, but these make the process much easier and more reliable. It pays to step up and order a good name line Tripp Lite.

Unlike CAT6 plugs which take extraordinary effort to line up all four copper pairs for successful crimp, these line up the copper cable much more easily.

Easy to use and very reliable so far. Makes using keystones a much more pleasant process.

It's a key panel insert. Cables fit very snug, but are not tight. Contacts are thick, heavy wire. They will make a good contact and keep it. Not a cheap plastic connector, they're closed up nice and tight with no wiggle at the plastic seams. I was going to pry them open to fill with epoxy because they're not going in a wall panel, but an outdoor mobile installation where gunk could be an issue, but there was no reason to after I inspected them. They're quite solid.
