Straight out of the packaging into a USB port and it was working on Windows 10. paired right up with my phone.
Requires a free pcie slot and a free usb plug on the motherboard for the bluetooth.
Easy to install, set up, and it works great at a reasonable price.
compatible with older slots but new tech and programming for a decent upgrade
The WIFI is great, but I really bought this to add Bluetooth to my computer. It does this really well. The connection reaches all corners of my house in stereo. Fast shipping. You do have to have a vacant USB socket on the motherboard. This is not just a USB socket, it is pin socket.
Got this to replace an old/damaged USB wireless receiver and it's a huge upgrade. Took just minutes to install to a recently built PC. WiFi connection is excellent, and the Bluetooth is also really useful for connecting AirPods/other devices to the PC. Very affordable.
Plug and play easy install Good speeds
was easy to install, worked well. even paired with phone hot spot.
Came next day. Works as expected see picture. Installed in my spectre x360 which I bought in 2015. Amazing upgrade to my previous wifi card (7265).
Switched from an N600 TPLINK internal Card. Removed the original antennas and used some Boosted TP-LINK 8dB antennas, however. Doubled my download speed! Instead of the back of the desk, now with this moveable base i can place it in direct line with the router, with no interference. Link Monitor shows me having 8-10 db better reception, and a more stable connection. Gaming is better with this adapter.
- Supports monitor mode without jumping through any hoops - Decent range - Easy installation - Works immediately, plug and play
My internet went down so I finally tried this thing to see if I could connect my Linux PC to my cell phone hot spot. Yes, I can. Plugged this thing in and within minutes of doing nearly nothing to get it working, I had internet, from my phone. The actual reason I bought this thing, is to share files between PC and phone via bluetooth... Haven't tried that yet, but the configurator to set it up on the PC appeared when I plugged this thing in. I don't expect problems, it looked very simple to set up..
