Help finding the best parts

So Far I have a GPU, and intel arc b570 I got for 150 open box but still in packaging. I am looking at amd4 for my cpu and wanted to originally go with a 5700xt + ryzen 5 3600x
But now I believe anything below a 5600 would become a pretty big bottleneck
However, I have found someone selling a ryzen 7 5800xt for 150, which I believe would pair well. Any suggestions for other parts? I am also looking at a few ddr4 16 2x8gb 3200 for arouns 50-70$

Sounds like your off to good start. 5800XT is best deal you can find for AM4 CPU right now and there is no bottleneck with it and the B570 at 1080p but big GPU bottleneck at 2K & 4K
RAM prices are still high right now 2x8gb 3200 is around $100+used Did you need a motherboard? a combo deal maybe best if so take a look at these combos

Good luck & thanks for posting

If you already have the Arc B570 for that price, that’s actually a solid start for a budget AM4 build.

A Ryzen 5 3600X will work, but yeah, it could start holding that GPU back in newer titles. If you can genuinely get a “5800XT” for $150 (just double-check it’s not mislabeled or a scam listing, since that SKU is unusual), that would be a way better match and should age much better for gaming + multitasking.

For RAM, your 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200 at $50–70 is totally fine—just make sure it’s CL16 if possible for a bit better performance on Ryzen.

For other parts:

  • Motherboard: B450 or B550 (B550 is safer for upgrades + PCIe 4.0 support)
  • Storage: At least a 500GB NVMe SSD (1TB if you can stretch it)
  • PSU: 550W–650W from a reputable brand (don’t cheap out here)
  • Case: Any airflow-focused mid-tower with at least 2–3 fans
