My basic setup before my first build gets going.

This out of the box rig has gotten me through some years. I bought it from someone that won it in a raffle and never opened it. It still works great and does its job but it’s time for an upgrade. I’ve never built before so I’m nervous. I don’t want to mess anything up when I put this new cpu together. I think I can figure it out though so hopefully I’ll post pics of the new rig soon and see what it’s like to play with high fps.

Are you building a new pc or upgrading the parts in the image you posted? I do not understand very well. What are you upgrading?

I “think?” I see some dust on the pc meaning it’s probably been well used. think he’s upgrading it

Ah, I was confused if he was building a new pc or upgrading the parts and transferring them into a new pc.

Thank you for your investigative work @UwUk-Hai

I’m building a new one and this post is mostly just an appreciation to this one before I say goodby to it. Sorry for the confusion.

Unfortunately it’s an omen so there is really not much to do as far as upgrading these is what I have been told. I’m new to all of this so I just decided to buy parts and build. I’ve got to learn one day. I’m nervous about it though.

Well, make sure you watch all the build videos you can, @Viraco made a nice post about pc building resources. Check it out, very good.

See if you can salvage any of the parts out of the old pc, including the windows license, maybe you can tie it to a windows account if it is not bound to the motherboard.
