Working on my first build

if this is the memory that you’re talking about it’s decent you could save a little money possibly be by not having the RGB but I get it😉. Corsair makes a few versions of this memory and not all of them are expo compatible and that’s what I wanted to check on.

The only other thing, if you wanted the Shave a few dollars off is you can go with a 7800x3d Instead of the 9800x3d. Performance gains between the two are about 10% or even less in some circumstances. Again I can’t fault you for wanting to go with the 9800x3d. One other thing I would say is both the 9800 And 7800 CPUs are probably too fast for the 9070 XT (truth be told the 9800 X3d Is even faster than a RTX5090 can handle). The good thing of these though is in a few years you’ll probably just change the GPU out and that’s quick and easy. I myself usually overbuild on the CPU, it won’t hurt performance and I feel it’s more cost-effective in the long run. this PC will should last you for years!

The liquid cooler you picked out might be a bit overkill but it certainly won’t hurt

since this is your first time building here are some reference videos for you to watch some of them are involved but they are pretty good.

Is there a liquid cooler you recommend? That could save me a few bucks also thank you so much for the help this is my first PC and I wanna make sure I get this right

well if you buy this deal it comes with one. in fact it seems to be Newegg throws in a liquid cooler with a lot of their packages. under the CPU orange lettering says it comes with a AIO, that’s a liquid cooler

I mean, if they have like 70-80 dollars they could get a 9800x3d.

I recommend a 1440p or a 4k monitor, not a 1080p one.
