Most online retailers don’t have a will call center that allows customers to pick up their purchases whenever it’s most convenient for them – but Newegg does. Instead of waiting around for the mailman, many of our savvy shoppers choose to make the trip to one of our three will call locations because it saves them time and money. But unlike other will call services, Newegg also offers something extra that you won’t find anywhere else: a high-end consumer electronics showroom.

Whether you want to inspect the newest computer hardware, play the hottest gaming consoles, or look at cutting-edge TV displays; the Newegg Hybrid Center allows you to experience innovative technology unlike anyplace else. If that’s not enough to lure you into the store, we’re now doing something else to entice you: hosting a build challenge!
The “Install THIS! Build Challenge” will take place at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 15th at the City of Industry Hybrid Center location. Contestants will be randomly paired up into teams of two and the fastest to install an SSHD into a PS4 wins. The only catch is they have to do this blindfolded!
One member of the team will attempt to install the drive without the use of their eyes while the other member provides verbal instructions. If this sounds hard it’s because it is, but the prizes are well worth the effort. Both members of the winning team will win a Seagate SSHD and then compete head-to-head against each other to win a Sony PlayStation 4. If you think you have what it takes to win, then now’s your chance to prove it!
The “Install This! Build Challenge” is completely free to enter and open to any person over the age of 18.
