can this Processor Handel a 64-bit Windows?

Intel Core i7-7700T 2.9GHz Processor handles 64-bit Windows and 64-bit Linux applications smoothly with no problem. I have tested this processor (with 16GB memory) running Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8.0 64-bit and have had no problems, even with  2 x Virtual Machines running on top. At 35W TDP it is a good mid range processor.

Is this any good for gaming? Or should I just get the normal i7 7700?

It's a high-end i7 processor regardless, but I bought mine for a mini-ITX bundle w/ liquid cooler and its thermal properties (I don't want a lot of cooling fans). I'm sure it would work fine as it has most of the compute power of the i7 7700 with a fraction of the power & heat dissipation.

But if you have a good liquid cooler and chassis ventilation and really want to max out your CPU performance (and power consumption doesn't matter to you), go for the standard model.

it also has the heat transfer compound on it and not protected from your
fingers if you don't know it is there.
