-Solid black color scheme with rugged aesthetics around the heatsinks and accent metals -5x M.2 onboard -A lot of usb slots in the back and a good mix of speeds -Easy release for PCIE main slot and M2 heat shields is appreciated

- good amount of fan headers still used fan hub - online manual is helpful - tool-less nvme x2 - reinforced PCIE slot - looks good - AM4 backplate pre-installed

Slot at the bottom because of No lane sharing

USB C header. Great features for SFF Case. Nice price for all features Support for 5000 series cpus.

Price, performance, build quality, features, reliability, did I mention price!

- Well thought out layout, everything is placed for solid cable management - 2x PCIe NVMe SSD M.2 slots (1 at Gen4 x4 with an included heatsink, and 1 at Gen3 x2. Using the latter disables 2 of the 6 SATA ports) - M.2 Key E WiFi slot - DIMM slots allow for adding/removing RAM without removing the GPU - Lots of backpanel IO including one each of USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A and C ports - Onboard headers for 4 front panel USB ports, front panel audio, plus an additional 4 back panel USB ports (and even a COM port header) - A nice big passive heatsink on the VRMs - All the onboard components work out-of-the-box with Linux

MSI products have always worked well for me and this motherboard is great just like the others I have used for my builds in the past.

Great motherboard has all the new bells and whistles, at a great price what more you want?

most bang for buck. you can change color of bios which is a oddly compelling feature and lots of other handy options right there in the OC tweaker tab

I prefer Gigabyte's approach to parsing out PCIE 5.0 lanes, splitting the PCIE x16 slot's allocation to support up to 3 NVMe drives (1x off of the CPU directly and 2x by allocating 2x4 of the 16 pcie lanes from the PCIE x16 slot) to other manufacturers' approaches.

- PCIe 5.0 x16 for the latest generation of GPUs - M2 Heatsink "Frozr II" - Wifi 7

Beautiful mobo, everything has been thought of to make building east and beautiful at the same time

- EZ-Latch for both GPU and NVMe drives - Excellent thermal management - WIFI7 support - Works great with 9950X3D

It looks amazing. Feels great and has a lot of flair to it.

it includes two M.2 SSD heatsinks lost of USB and fan connector best value 870E motherboard

The ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Dark Hero is phenomenal. I want to start by mentioning the attention to detail and the build qualityit's on another level. The board feels very solid, strong, and heavy. The main reason I decided to go with this board is that it allows me to run two Gen 5 SSDs at full speed without losing GPU performance, keeping the graphics card running at x16. I do lose the use of the 40Gb USB-C ports, but honestly I dont use them anyway. Working on the board was super easy thanks to all the EZ-Latch mechanisms, which made installing components quick and hassle-free.

Clean white aesthetic Solid build Easy Installation, no issues

AM5 socket, ease of use, heatsink for gen 5 drive, pcie 5.0 compatible, plenty of RGB and fan/aio headers, sleek black look for black builds. USB-c on back panel, easy to use bios.
