Had to replace an 8 year old model Cyberpower unit that had the motherboard die. I have had excellent luck with Cyberpower and this is the first unit I have ever had to replace.

Bought this for the small footprint as it needed to sit in a small space. It was exactly what I was looking for and keeps my Fiber modem and ethernet adapter running for many hours. I like that you can disable the alarm easily and that it was very straightforward to hook up and power on.

I live in the country and it's real common to loose power. With an APC I never have to worry about loosing data from a fast shut down. I also don't have to worry about loosing computers, monitor, speaker system or even the printer. It's battery backup for four units and a surge protection for 8. It even gives me time to get a battery lamp and flash lights. The most important thing though is that it gives me the security of knowing that when I'm not here it gives the computer time to shut down just like I was doing it my self. I thought it was bells and whistles, but it's really nice to know my battery strength, how long and how many times it's shut down and even for how long. Great Product and as always delivered fast and secure by Newegg.

Ok, to get this out of the way--ONE button does everything. Not the most convenient thing for consumers to do but simplifies things for the maker of the product except when people call them and go "blah blah, how do I do this or dat?" The instructions come with it on how to set settings though. Voltage trip range could be set to sensitive, normal, or high. I left it on normal, which is preset, and it tripped once within a week--I heard a click from the unit, which means it activated. Also, audio alarm could be disabled (or couple other options as to when it would activate), all of which also is set by one button.. meh. You have to hold button for so long, blah, do so long of a press blah, blah blah... meh. Green power LED is very nice looking but too bright for bedrooms, so I had to put a sticky note paper over it and paint that area with a black permanent marker (in reverse order) to keep that light from shining brightly in the room. Overall: it is a very nice polished looking product for a reasonable price.

APC is a long standing great name in UPS devices. They work very well and give you time to properly shut down computers and other electronic equipment.

Can silence beeps if needed Menu screen displays voltage, events, runtime, load, etc PC app easy to install and works as it should Compact and well designed with replaceable battery.
