So I put in a newer CPU i7-14700 but it never booted up at all at first got the White light on the motherboard which a lot of people have. This motherboard is awesome and simple fix , you see I got the white light on motherboard as it was a newer CPU so all you need to do is update bois, but it won't post and can't see the screen , this motherboard no problem it has a bios slot , simply download the newest bios from asus website and put it on a usb stick and using the Bios slot in the back of the board it will update bios and you will be up and running on the newer CPU .... like I say love this board so far fast and simple setup .

This no frills Asus Strix MB installed cleanly and loading Windows 11 was a joy using a "Rufus" bootable flash drive. I was even able to re-use an old Windows 10 license key from my work Microsoft ActionPack. I'm elated I built this pc as early as I did....prices of DDR5 ram have tripled in price....ouch! This is my first AIO enabled pc and the absence of fan noise is amazingly welcome.
