I really was amazed about this motherboard . It had some purple on it and really had everything you would need on it including a start and reset button right on the board awesome!!

Easy to install. Not a large Motherboard compared to a z series. gigabyte is easy and straight forward to update BIOS extremely easy

Nothing to dislike about it, definitely a great component to my build.

Two thunderbolt ports. Can turn off RGB in the bios, (Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you ASUS) 6-7 sata ports (6 standard sata ports + 1 sata m.2 form factor slot) Top notch bios. Free m.2 expansion card (has sharp edges, careful not to get cut) ~ not that big a deal, just some wires on a pcb, but it is one less thing you might need to buy

I replaced a bad MSI board. Instruction manual was easy to read, and overall the machine performance seems a bit better than the busted MSI Board. Love the pcie 5.0 release button. Drivers are packaged to install at first boot. So far running great.

This is the second of these boards that I have used to build a system with -- it's hard to beat for the price. I used G-Skill Trident Z5 RGB memory modules and it's good to go.

I've always bought PCs from Dell, not ever thinking to build my own. My son however, has gotten into gaming and wanted to build his own PC. We did a lot of research and ended up buying this latest MSI MGP Z490 Gaming Edge motherboard. * The board is heavy, sturdy, unlike anything I've every seen before. * I like how it has heatsinks in 3 different areas. * The M.2 slots are convenient and superfast, no longer need SATA drives. * I appreciated that everything was clearly labeled, and the instruction manual was well written. This truly helped when connecting all the wiring for the fans, front panel buttons, etc. * Installing in case, and connecting all components was super easy. * Been running like a champ the last two weeks, without issues. We've paired this with a WD SN750 M.2 drive, EVGA 750W power supply, intel i7-10700, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB and a Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super.
