Build went very well just don't pull a rookie move like leaving a stand off screw in the case that should have been removed prior to installing the motherboard which could end up causing the server not to POST until the screw was finally removed. Boots and installs VMware vSphere (ESXi 6.0) right out of the box without the need for any additional effort. The Intel RAID Controller also worked without the need for any extra drivers. Good motherboard, not for beginners, would recommend to a friend

The size of this mobo and its compatibility with ATX power supplies were the two deciding factors. The board has excellent expandability and it will fit into most any ATX case. I have two Xeon E5-2630 v3 CPUs running with 64 Gb of Kingston RAM (4 X 16 Gb). I added an Asus PIKE II 3008 card for SAS drives. I've had absolutely not problems with this motherboard. No regrets here.
