Got this because it's compatible with Windows 98 Upon boot, Win 98 detected it, it installed a PCE-E to PCI bridge chip driver. I had to install the driver manually after, but that's just Windows 98 being bad.

I got this in the mail two weeks ago and it's been working perfectly. Games and music sound great on it. Oblivion sounds MUCH better now. My onboard sound would occasionally cut out while in a cave/fort/etc but this card has the sound working perfectly!!!
