Very loud, adds definition to sound, I notice cymbals and drum clarity specifically. Install easy into pci e, decent software. Don't sleep on the sound blaster, wish I woulda know sooner. Buy one, you need it for sure.

This card was very easy to install and get running and made a huge improvement in the sound and versatility of my computer as a music player and is worth the money .

I was doing a New 550 M.B. when I install this for the 1st time

Finally, I can get real volume from all sites. For some reason, many sites did not have the db level I wanted.

High quality product. The sound is amazing. I have upgraded from a Sound blaster Z series. That was great. But this one is something else. I am happy with my purchase.

All is good

Works well ( and I am using Linux Mint and Cachy

-Great sound with my shure srh-1540 (remove all effects of sound blaster connect 2) -little bit better than Walkman A45

Picked this up as a work around for a busted headphone jack in my laptop, turned out to be way better with far more options than I'd expected. It gave my laptop a more true feeling surround option for headphones. Haven't tried plugging a set of speakers into it just yet.

Got this because it's compatible with Windows 98 Upon boot, Win 98 detected it, it installed a PCE-E to PCI bridge chip driver. I had to install the driver manually after, but that's just Windows 98 being bad.

Comes with low profile bracket. Sound is great compared to onboard sound component.

I use it to listen to classical music and for playing Quake III and Doom IV. Works fine for my 5.1 sound system.

- works in Ubuntu 20.04 without additional drivers. - The headphone jack also supports a TRRS headset with mic as well so you don't need to buy a 1 to 2 jack adapter to use this card. - sports a type A connector

This product worked exactly what i needed it to do. I wanted to set up 5.1 Surround sound, and it did it with no problems. It was and still is a great product that i would recommend to anyone in need of a sound card for fairly cheap.

I'm a long time sound blaster user, going back to the ISA cards mid 90's. Loved the SB Live and XF-I cards. When I was migrating from the XF-i cards to the newer gen sound blasters I went with a Z card initially, I hated it. I went right back to the tried and true SB XF-I cards that I loved, they just work. They stopped selling them so I got adventurous again got this sound blaster Audigy RX. The problem with the Z card was that it was just too complicated for its own good. If you have several hours and want to tweak the EQ and make it sound good, knock yourself out. But I prefer the old fashioned works out of the box with slight adjustments to the standard windows Bass/Treble etc controls. The RX fits the bill and sounds almost exactly like the XF-I cards I loved. I had two computers setup and hooked up to the same speakers, one setup through and XF-I the other through an RX and just bounced back and forth between the two on a single track, and I could hardly tell a difference. There are some new features with the RX though, which is good. A few minutes of setup and it was perfect. Very clear sound blaster audio like I expect. Been using them for 20+ years and I love it when they get it right.

Cost effective and gives you what you need for gaming, music-related tasks, etc.
