Came home one day, and noticed a horrible burning smell. Looked in my office, and the wall I plug the strip into apparently had some water damage to it and the outlet looked charred. Wall and power strip were hot to the touch, but after relocating and replugging my computer, everything survived. The real bonus is that when I called tripp lite to thank them for their excellent product, they insisted on shipping me out a new top of the line model as a replacement. Their customer service is through the roof, and I will sing their praises to everyone who asks about a good powerstrip (though such questions do rarely actually come up).

Works great, the extra outlets on the side provide some more space for large AC adaptors. Long cord is also very nice

I can plug this into the wall, and then plug other stuff into this! And it works!

Just what I was looking for, a surge protector and short power splitter. Cables fit comfortably and the quality of the product seems high. The switch is on the back, I like this since it sits under the desk and I don't have to worry about stepping on it.
