The low-profile design is excellent for fitting the unit into smaller spaces and just generally reducing the visual impact (I set up a lot of computers in people's living areas). The sockets are well spaced and oriented so that most AC-adapter units hang off the side and thus don't block the other sockets. Phone and coax ports are out of the way of power cables.

Purchased at sales price. Quality built.

Great surge protector for the price. Solid assembly, gets the job done.

Phone protection worked as hoped Small form factor...able to gang a bunch of 'em together on a power strip

Awesome unit I have several of these and they work great

I use this at home with both my entertainment center (including htpc) and my main pc with lcd. Never any issues. I also uplug this all and take it with me for my DJ equipment on gigs. When I DJ, my tables, mixer, pc, monitor, amps (~1500w) and lights are all connected to it. There has been 1 instance when I had to DJ at a sweet 16 during a storm and there was a surge. Everything was just fine with my equipment. It blew out half the lights in the ballroom though. Also, it has a really long cord. I have never needed an extension cord to bridge the gap from the socket to this suppressor. Not to mention it's OSHA certified. I did a gig for the city once and it just so happens that if my power wire had to cross where people would be walking, it needed to be up to OSHA standards. Get this surge suppressor if you are the type of person who just wants no hassle or worries at all.

Price, ease of set up, spacing between plugs.

Swivel plug allows better placement for cord.
