Came home one day, and noticed a horrible burning smell. Looked in my office, and the wall I plug the strip into apparently had some water damage to it and the outlet looked charred. Wall and power strip were hot to the touch, but after relocating and replugging my computer, everything survived. The real bonus is that when I called tripp lite to thank them for their excellent product, they insisted on shipping me out a new top of the line model as a replacement. Their customer service is through the roof, and I will sing their praises to everyone who asks about a good powerstrip (though such questions do rarely actually come up).

Insanely helpful for loads that don't need constant electricity to regulate the draw!

-2 side outlets -Can absorb a lot of joules -Cheap Very good surge suppressor!

- Easy to use- Looks nice- Charge those phones and tablets - The surge protector itself lights up when there is power

Love cord length. And light so you know it's protected.

I bought 13 of these to set up a computer lab. I like them. Good construction.

Why wasn't this thought of before? Makes it much easier to mix those obnoxious wall rats.
