Performs both surge and noise supression. This is critical because many electrical problems are due to noise and not just surges. A surge ruins things but noise causes erratic problems. I bought 5 of them for surpressing noise and spikes at their source as well as frontline protectors for my UPS's. I opened one up to verify that it had all the right parts in the right quantities. *don't do this unless you are qualified* Earned the 5th star back for being easy to re-assemble and eventually proving it had all of its qualifications.

I've got 8 of these floating around the office and warehouse and they are great! Long cord length, they are very durable since they are metal, works perfectly. Another plus is that most transformer plugs fit on it without any issue and don't block other plugs.

The surge protector is perfect.

Live in a places with a lot of up and downs electric surges and this plug in really protect my appliances. Great little product. I'm buying 4 more of theses. Recommend if you want to feel secure with your appliances.

There hasn't been a power outage or any lightning or anything, so this has essentially been the same as any multitap I've used so far. I'll right a review if anything funky happens. I like the fact that the switch isn't right on the top of the thing because those get hit by accident sometimes.

Not too much to say about this product. I plugged it in and it worked. The length is sufficient for my needs, and the construction itself feels pretty solid. There are better surge protectors on the market, but this is a good buy considering the price.
