-web interface for management -email alerts -can do both web interface and USB for safe shutdown of computers or NAS

Insanely high load. We had to increase our UPS at our primary office because I purchased two 1100 watt, dual PS Dell T-620's and our other UPS's were rated at 1100VA, 900 watts. One Dell T-620, one Watchguard Firewall x550, one Dell Gigabit switch and one HP procurve gigabit switch, a patton PRI gateway and our PRI smart card all piggy back on this thing. Basically, our entire operation in one host operates at 13% load, providing us 80 mins of failsafe. Again, that number is insane for 1,100$. I'm currently awaiting the Tower model of the 2200 1960VA to put on the other host now. It's supposed to have even more power, and it only costs 750$ now... Coming from a guy who's spent 20years in IT, it's nice to see the UPS market follow suit with the harddrive market and allow a little leeway for small businesses like us to take advantage of this technology.

So far so good. The item works great. it has an APPLEESQUES look and has the plugs all on one side.

-nice size -nice display -reasonable price

Its working

I've owned 2 of these for over 2 years now, and they've been perfect. No problems, issues, or concerns. Does what it's supposed to do. Best part of this is the 3 separately controllable zones for output power. You can independently bounce, stop, start, schedule, and monitor each zone, which provides huge flexibility in managing my glitchy cable modem, VOIP adapter, router, firewall, network switch, video amplifiers, backup NAS, etc. etc. I can prioritize and shed loads manually or by schedule. I haven't seen anything else in this price range that can do this.

*NIX support for these is great. Was able to setup with FreeBSD quite easily. UPS Fan only runs when system is charging, so it's silent almost all the time.

Many things in menu, runs silent most of the time

This UPS replaced an APC Smart UPS 750 RM 2U - also a rackmount unit. The SRT1000RMXLA adds a super-functional display, power-conditioning capabilities in addition to larger battery capacity/improved runtime.

relatively small for a 2200VA UPS, expandable (with optional battery pack), switchable plugs through serial or USB connected dedicated host.

This thing has severed my glory for years and would recommend it. Being a computer technician, i know what i want and what i need and this device fits multiple uses for various equipment.
