The plastic housing does not flex much when you squeeze it, seems decent quality plastic. The cable also seems fairly thick and good quality, but it is not stiff enough to cause the unit to sit awkwardly. The 1080p video shown on my monitor looks good and responsive for normal desktop use (I'm not gaming on this pc). Have not tested the audio jacks, but the unit supplies a good audio signal to the monitor over hdmi. I like that it can be plugged in to a USB-A port and and I like the included USB-A to USB-C adapter.

Plug and Play, no issues so far and simple to setup

I now can upgrade my old VGA system to HDMI, and I get to have dual monitors now!

I love how easy this converter is to use. I'm a novice with computer things and I was able to do this myself. I connected my laptop and pc, as well as my TV. I have Windows and it was smooth and no glitches. The 4k video feature is great because my videos were clear and not grainy or blurry like I've seen sometimes when connecting devices. I'm very pleased!

The cable has been working well without any connection issues. It's been 2 years. Cheers.

It does what it says. I'm able to charge and use *either* USB or HDMI at the same time, but not both. However, I'm not sure if this is a limitation of my laptop or the adapter. Regardless, I really just got it so I could use USB and charge at the same time, with HDMI being a nice bonus if I need it. The cable is thick enough that it ought to hold up to everyday use pretty well, and not overheat from a more powerful charger (knock on wood).
