Doubled my download speed in an inexpensive and easy to install card.

The ethernet port on my motherboard died. No problem, I have an old spare network card. Uh oh, the motherboard only has PCIe slots. So I ordered this and it was delivered shortly after. Installed it, started the computer, and off we go. I didn't have to install a driver, thanks Windows 11.

I highly recommend this adapter! Easy to set up. Works with Windows, Mac, and Linux. And works with Synology DS920+ (which is also built on Linux). Installed on my DS920+ I get it's full speed. Running wonderfully since Mid February.

Lower cost than others of its kind. It's significantly smaller than I was expecting, and the heat sink covers every bit of usable space for exceptional cooling.

We cant get fiber yet, and our cable and WiFi setup has been terrible, so I invested in the MoCa system. Dont be sold on WiFi/Mesh if youve already got coax cable lines in every room. We dont have tvs in every room, but we have devices that rely on internet. Weve been struggling with dropped connections, speed and performance issues relying on WiFi mesh. And WiFi doesnt go through concrete to the outside. Solution: Use the Moca in tandem with your WiFi! The MoCa unit was a quick install. Youll need a cable splitter and a router for the primary modem/cable box (and additional lengths of CoAx and Ethernet), if your modem/router isnt already Moca enabled. With Moca we now get 523mbps at the source and 517-520 Mbps at each satellite Moca. Previously, the WiFi mesh only we got unreliable 117mbps. Ive already ordered a second batch for the extra rooms. In addition I purchased a Moca filtered splitter. The cable guy came out and tested and was pleasantly surprised there was no degradation to service nor any addl noise being sent back to the hub. He did warn that when they update the systems frequencies, the Moca will become obsolete or incompatible.
