- Solidly Built - SATA connectors mimic the placement of a 3.5" drive, so it can be used in any type of 3.5" cradle - It is actually well thought out in the design and function, in a sea of a cheap stuff that just get the job done I'm very impressed with this particular product, even compared to other Orico stuff I have run into.

LED light, small but quality

Easy to use, when you need to use a hard drive outside of the pc.

- Simple tech - Just 1 button - LEDs for "1" and "2" are barely noticeable (not distracting but clearly visible when you need to check) - Optional micro-USB input for driving additional power (but haven't needed it, haven't tested that)

This is a much sturdier adapter than the Akasa adapter I bought at the same time.

- Does the thing

It easily recognized the WD770 1TB SSD. AMD 870e motherboards have a disadvantage when using all M.2 slots: using more than three M.2 slots reduces the GPU's PCIe 5 speed from 16x to 8x. However, using the adapter in a PCIe 4 slot does not affect the GPU's PCIe 5 speed.

I was not expecting this to work. My thunderbolt (USB-C) connection did not support video, so I could only attach one monitor to my laptop via HDMI. This allowed me to attach and use a second monitor via the USB connection

Easy to use and setup

Needed to replace the onboard network adapter. This adapter was easy to install and setup. Working great and was a great value.

Installed m.2, plugged it in the PCI slot and fires it up. Drive showed up no fuss. Windows 11.
