Doing LLM training and needed to use a 35TB training file and 3TB validation file. Used 3 of these drives to create a RAID 0 drive with approx 54TB capacity. (this is on Ubuntu and formatted with XFS file system since usual EXT4 tops out at about 16TB file size.) Works great and much faster than a single drive would be due to the striping of RAID 0.

I'm running 6 of these on a FreeNas server. Its working great no issue with it the drives are very quiet and you cant even tell if they are spinning or not. They stay cool to the touch.

Seagate FireCuda is a 1/2 tb drive with flash memory, and something you just don't find much anymore. A 5 YEAR WARRANTY! A 5 year warranty mean that Seagate has the up most confidence in its FireCuda lineup. I have been using a Seagate Momentus XT 500 GB 2.5 Inch Solid State Hybrid Drive for 3 years in a low end 2011 laptop. And i really can't tell much difference between the Momentus XT and a SSD. Basically The Seagate Hybrid saves me from buying a new laptop! But after a month of swapping out the Momentus XT with this FireCuda and giving the flash memory a chance to know exactly what i use this laptop for.. I.E ,web browser ans Roku streamer. It is fast ,very fast ..But I can't see an increase over Seagates Momentus XT 500 gb drive. other than bragging "This is a FireCuda" I am more than satisfied that the FireCuda is a subtle upgrade from SSHD drives from previous generations.Tho only slightly. It is not a SSD ,but who wants to put a 500 gb SSD in your families streaming only laptop. To tell the truth , I also have an Alienware laptop and other than playing the latest and greatest games ,there is no difference. This boots Windows 7 in 17 seconds and everything including the internet is ready to go! Hulu,Roku it is up and ready. And you will not get this will a regular platter hard drive!

Does what it's supposed to do. Simple Installation.

Hot-Swap capability, fast communication, ease of use

6 out of 6 drives passed a full 3-pass write/verify certification of all sectors with 0 errors. (Compare to the WD Reds I've used, where about 1 in 3 fail.) Performance is good; basically in line with a 7200RPM 4TB drive. In other words, a nice bump up from the 5400 or 5900 RPM NAS drives from other manufacturers, but not hugely so.

- It feels well build - Easy to install the m.2 drive into, came with all tools needed. - so far had no issues adding the spare m.2 drives I had lying around. Now using them as large USB drives basically. Even using one as a game drive for more space for steam installs. - speed feels decent, don't expect amazing speeds with these as they are limited by USB 3.1

I mean its 2TB. Its a lot of space for whatever you are doing. Installation was nice and fast as you would expect.

The cost vs capacity was too good to pass up. I use this HDD as a back up to multiple large drives and it does the job well.

-Tons of storage space at a reasonable price -Good cache, 7200rpm -Same standard size

+ Price / Value + Cool Faux-Retro Aesthetic + Great for Stacking / Easy Storage * They may not be designed to stack per se but they do a good enough job (much better than an enclosure with rounded edges) and that is such a huge bonus as it helps me to keep all of my drives organized and less prone to becoming a cluttered mess.

Reasonably reliable. Owned a few similar products that have died within a year or after several uses.
