Bought 4 of these to put into my Unraid server build. 1 drive is my parity drive and the other 3 are paired up with (5) 6TB HDD's of another flavor for a storage pool of 64TB. I'll eventually swap out the 6TB drives with more of these as my pocketbook will allow. Performed the Pre-clear feature built into Unraid on all 4 drives with zero issues which weeds out infant mortality issues with HDD's Stable and solid for now.

Bought this and one of the 5K3000 2TB "green" drives. HD Tune V2.55 on Windows 7 x64 using SATA2 controller on older E8400 system, the reads on this one averages 130.0MB/s and bursts to 164.1MB/s. It runs at around 107F. For comparison the 5K3000 averages 101.6MB/s and bursts to 159.0MB/s and it runs at around 104F. The seeks on this drive are slightly louder than the 5K3000 but just barely audible outside of an older Antec Sonata case.

- Was easy to install, format and is quiet enough for me desktop, similar sound level to many WD HDD's I've used in the past decades. - A great value ($219-$249 price range) for 16TB of data storage (14.5TB after Windows 10 Formatting). - I only go with new not renewed hard drives.
