Love that this UPS is Linux friendly and performs as advertised.
Product was easy to set up and use - it is used for my hardware firewall and routers. No-hassle return - see below.
Powerful, well made and with numerous outlets and great features
Easy set up for a NAS backup power supply....just plug in and energize.
Bought this for the small footprint as it needed to sit in a small space. It was exactly what I was looking for and keeps my Fiber modem and ethernet adapter running for many hours. I like that you can disable the alarm easily and that it was very straightforward to hook up and power on.
Low budget, inexpensive, effective UPS. Integrates nicely with software for Windows-based PC's
Pure Sine wave Output on Battery. Plenty of battery back up outlets.
interfaces with NUT on NAS4Free server perfectly
I liked everything about the product. Nothing really to do. Take it out of the box, charge for 8 hours, and plug it in. I have a 65" Sony HD TV, An Xfinity Cable box, a Yamaha soundbar and subwoofer, and a Minisforum-Z83F mini-computer plugged in. Protects all and they only use about 300 watts out of the 510.
Being located in a remote National Park we get surges from lightning storms and fluctuation also in power drops, because the 70 mile above ground phone line is affected by wind etc . I would highly recommend this unit as it seems to even out the all of these fluctuations.
I like that it protects everything I have running including my router too. My computer would shut down when I printed something due to my network printer. I have the computer in the battery side and my computer does not shut down anymore. I feel like I am protected better than I have ever been before!
- Arrived well-before suggested delivery date. - Well-packaged to prevent any damage. - Set-up was easy with minimal, but very good instructions. - It has been in use for almost two weeks, and there have been no electrical incidents where the backup needed to turn on, so . . . will need to wait to comment on reliability. - Connected to the Back-UPS 1500 are an iMac with two ext HDD's, a Mac mini M2 Pro w/ 4TB of SSD, a studio monitor, and an OWC mini stack STX with a 4 TB HDD and 4 TB of SSD.
Lightweight Small footprint
Been waiting for a storm to submit a review. This unit maintained my internet connection during a Tornado Warning and subsequent power outage. I love it!
Very small footprint - will fit in a 12" deep wall mount rack with room to spare for power cords. The LCD display on the front was more useful than I thought and it's easy to read and not overly bright. Excellent runtime.
Easy to setup and the instructions are excellent. My last UPS battery crapped out and did not have the feature to replace it. So this UPS does have that capability, so was one of the features in my decision.
