-It is all pros

This unit is built like a tank, which is good because it needs to be sturdy to support the heavy battery inside. Detachable control panel is nice for testing, especially since nobody's going to put this beast of a unit on a table. Link software works well, but does not always send me an email like it's supposed to. Sine wave output works correctly with ThermalTake Toughpower Grand PSUs (which means that newer PSU won't kill power during a transfer from AC to battery).

Great looking, full function monitoring. A great alternative to the APC Smart series. Had to replace a 10 year old APC SU-700NET.... this was far better (not just in VA size).

Great size. Easy to install Good software (when you have the right version) Love the screen that will let you know what is going on when you want to.

- Works as advertised, supports my mid-range PC with dual monitor setup long enough to save, close my work & shutdown when outages/fluctuations occur - power supplied to my devices plugged in remains consistent & entirely uninterrupted - Has lived through over a dozen power flickers & full on outages in my small town which is notorious for frying household appliances with our terrible power company (in southern Ontario, Canada) - Alarm when wall power is lost and UPS has kicked on can be turned off/on - Alarm, when on, is not excessively loud - the word alarm makes you think it will be screaming at you but it's comparable to a microwave button beep, probably a little bit quieter - When alarm is turned off, it still makes a very audible click when kicking on due to external power being cut off, so unless you have closed headphones or are blasting music you'll probably know the power went out if you didn't have any other indicator (like you had your lights off in your room mid-day or something) and can begin shutting your stuff off

- Made by APC is a plus for me - Six outlets on battery, 3 surge only. Something like a printer shouldn't be on battery backup. - Lighter than expected - No significant problems - Good fit behind equipment or on the wall - Protected USB charging port

Does exactly what it is supposed to. It runs my computer and dual 21.5" monitors for fifteen minutes, plenty of time to power down safely, or bridge the gap in a short power outage.

-Way smaller than I expected -Very quiet -Screen is bright and I like the different information you can display like run-time and watt usage -Fit and finish are great I actually prefer this design to the newer editions from APC -1103 Joule surge rating is a great bonus -Mine was made/tested 3/25/18 so its a new unit, which is great because I know I got a fresh battery. (not something that is really guaranteed when you buy a product that has been out for awhile)

reliable power backup that you can count on

Seems to be good quality. Haven't had a chance to fully use it yet.

Works as described, costs less than other brands for the same output.

- Bought this for my son for his gaming rig and PS4 setup, works like a champ - Very quiet, I cannot hear that it is on. (Other reviewer that did must have had an issue as both of mine are dead silent) The only time these things make a noise is when there is a bad spike or power loss and then it's just a beep. - Automatically adjusts voltage to proper spec, and in this old house with old wiring it's a product saver - Strong reliable battery. Battery in my old one still going strong after over 6 years of several storms and low voltages being thrown at it. -Digital display is nice

Informs user how much time the UPS could supply power should a power outage occur. Sine wave output to assure proper operation of all equipment and peripherals. Cost effective for what it does.

I have the older APC SMC1500 and it has improvements. I like that this has more time when power is shut off. The APC SMT1500 C can handle heavier loads and the menu status screen is better even though it still has the same size screen.

This battery is awesome. I replaced a couple of smaller UPS's with this one in a telco closet.. love the fact that i can just plug this into our comcast business modem and it goes to the net and does it's thing in the cloud. This did come with a 20Amp plug so i had to change it over to the regular straight plug.. but you can get adapters for those.

Nice, compact form factor Solid voltage regulation Quiet operation Low heat generation

Was happy to find an inexpensive unit with 'shutdown' capability from a well-known company. Wanted to try Vista's higher-performance disk settings, and had read that a UPS is more or less a necessity when doing so.

Has built in ethernet to provide status and alerts through APC's cloud. Easy to read and use LCD display Great Mobile interface for use on table or smart phone
