Runs my rig perfectly. 500w Antec power supply drawing 200 watts at idle along with two monitors. Provides me ten minutes of time before it's dead. APC software is nice and the LCD info on the front is a plus, nice to see how much power you are using, and when the LCD is off, you can't even tell there is a screen there. Definitely will be buying more of these for my other PCs

I fully trust my system to their UPS, which directly routes to my TripLite surge protector, from which all my sensitive equipment is powered.

1U and Rackmount - The battery fits perfectly in a 1U slot on my rack, and is narrow enough to work with most rails. The handles can be optionally attached if you need an extra 1/4-1/2" of thickness depending on your rail kit, allowing it to be compatible with even more kits. Front Panel LED is easy to read, not too cluttered with useless icons. The uncovered button changes the info displayed, cycling between Input Voltage, Output Voltage, Battery Run Time (Minutes), Load Capacity (in %), and Battery Capacity (in %). 6 outlets on the back panel: 4 battery/surge and 2 surge-only. There are additional ports (USB, serial, RJ-11/45), but I didn't use those, so not sure how well they work.

Great little unit. Worked just fine on my computer, until I upgraded to a monster gaming rig, which is pushing it a bit too much, but for 95% of computer-users, this is all you'll need for superior peace of mind. Has been tested numerous times during electric power failures. No problems at all.

Using multiple open source platforms to write code for my college courses. Easy to configure using command lines.

This brand never disappeared me. Always you have what you pay for.

This UPS replaced an APC Smart UPS 750 RM 2U - also a rackmount unit. The SRT1000RMXLA adds a super-functional display, power-conditioning capabilities in addition to larger battery capacity/improved runtime.

* Low price * Relatively light weight, especially when compared with previous model * Easy to read LCD readout, offering lots of useful data * Mute control * Sleek looking, slim body. Easy to place, with my PC workspace

Easy setup just went to the website and grabbed the files I needed and I was up and running. I was able to power my NAS, ESXi cluster and switch with more then enough room left over.

Price and performance are both good.

Enough power to keep our server and network running for 1 hr

Good battery backup at a good price

Bought because the electric work in my new house is unreliable. Until I fix my house I bought this and it has saved me from so many under voltages I almost lost count. Bonus points for saving me through two thunderstorms that killed my electricity completely. I couldn't have bought it at a better time! It gives time for how long the battery will last (depends on how much current you're drawing). Kept my computer on until the electricity came back on. I feel so relieved! Plus pure sine wave is better for your sensitive electronics such as a PC than simulated sine wave. The product feels super solid and you can connect it to your PC's usb to get a system notification icon on how long the battery will last. Amazing.
