Works acceptably.

Great Processor with Video. I don't do much gaming but for every day use this really fits the requirements.

-Amazing performance for gaming, multitasking, and rendering. -Good integrated graphics, you can play some games with it.

Super fast and a breeze to install. Great value on sale. Fast shipping.

Best i7 processor in the 1150 platform. This processor is pretty fast. Nice upgrade from 1100T. Honestly LGA2011's price premium vs 1150 does not convince me to upgrade to that platform if you are basing on performance gains unless you are doing a quad rig chose this platform.

- Tears through everything I throw at it - Workstation tasks are a breeze, can run many programs at once with no loss of speed - Code compiles nearly instantly (great for game development) - Stays cool, haven't seen it go above 70ish degrees even when gaming

There are so many options for a good CPU now but I had to make a budget buy so I could afford a new motherboard and DDR5 memory and what a great choice this has been! It is just a beast it runs anything I have thrown at it with ease. I mostly use my pc for internet and gaming so for those purposes it is perfect.

Fast. Even for an older CPU it still does a good job.

Great product and good performance

Switched from a 3700x to a 5900x. Booted up just fine. Pbo offers great performance but leaving everything stock raises the volts up past 1.4v which isnt good for long term, plus I was seeing temps of 90. Id suggest using CTR 2.0 to find the best performance plus underclock, make sure you have the latest bios that supports agesa 1.2.0. Performance on my air cooler mugen 5 is good with temps of 36 idle and 75 in prime using an all core clock of 4.2ghz in the meantime. All core clocks hurt performance but with only an air cooler I feel its fast enough for now. Make sure you get decent ram my 3700x on 3200 2x8gb was ok but I dont think its great for this processes. I did searching and reviews and 3600 dual dimm with c16 latency or lower seems to be the best for price/performance. 3800 and 4000 are nelidgeable and close enough for margin of error. Might be overkill for AAA games but that will change with time. Emulators such as rpcs3 and zenia saw alot of improvements over my 3700x. GOW 3 can now be played at 60fps with minor hiccups along with Gran Turismo. Zip and rar extractions are slightly faster but I dont think the utilize all cores.

I primarily game on my Pc and upgrading from a ryzen 2600 to this 5700x3d was exactly what I wanted for getting some more life out of my gigabyte x470 aorus gaming 7 mb. Did the bios update to get the 5000 series cpus to work on x470 and although the gigabyte site says 2000 series will no longer work after that bios update, mine still posted no problem as I kept the 2600 in while making the bios update just to see. Anyway its a noticeable improvement when playing Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2 early access given how hard these games are known for working the cpu. Mine is paired with a 5700xt gpu.

I was tempted to go with AMD, but this was for my GF to surf the web with. Hey, Facebook is a power hog, gotta at least go with an I3. BTW, this processor came with a 47mm high fan/heatsink, which was low enough and good enough to fit in a tiny case.

Blazing fast. Runs everything with no issues. Temperatures are stable. Very easy to install.

-fast response and good replacement time

Like that it comes with a cooler despite the fact that I didn't use it, at least it was an option runs very cold(around 29*C idle) and keeps the cooler I did use silent(ventroo u6pro), paired well with some older slower ddr4 memory I have lying around. for 100$, 4 cores and 8 threads at 4.3ghz was a pipe dream when I started building PC's , I think not just for the money, but especially for the money this is an incredible bargain. LGA 1700 is a pretty easy socket to install in.
