It was introduced fairly recently as opposed to the baseline 5700 and 5700X, and it shows. Has a slightly lower clockspeed but some extra cooling and overclocking can help fix that, and the V-Cache that separates it from its siblings definitely make a difference. It also does well to stay cool, not generating an excess amount of heat making the aforementioned overclocking all the easier.
