My existing (and brand new) drive has a built-in "heatsink" that is just a flat piece of metal glued onto the chips without even a thermal pad (this came with a pre-built desktop), and the thing spends most of its time at around 75C even when nothing other than the OS is running on it, which according to google is a disaster. I just got this heatsink today and installation is very easy. Now the drive is mostly around 56C, and just 61C even under when I'm playing a game.

Running 10 fans and didnt have enough headers or wire jumpers. Gets the job done and so far it's been running without and faults.

2 for $10 is a good price! Easy to get them on and is keeping my drives under 40c even while gaming.

- It drains fluids without any leaks - Thick O-ring (some use cheap thin ones) - Made in Taiwan, not China - Overall quality for the price is awesome

Solid product with clear cut instructions!

This heat sink is easy to install, and offers two methods to hold it down. You have the options of either 2 metal clamps, or 2 rubber bands. I used the metal clamps, and haven't had any problems, but they are a little bit tight, or loose, I had one of each.

Many great mounting options. Magnetic back, screw holes pre drilled and tapped, "feet" than can be used for mounting. Works great. Great power adaptor.

Good solid copper heat-sink, and silicone heat transfer pad, fits perfectly with my 2 ICY DOCK MB601VK-B" Trays and makes contact at just the wright pressure to further remove heat from the NVMe drive. Affects the internal temperature of the drive by a great degree, calculated a good 65% of the generated heat is removed.
