Upgraded my pc?

Runs mostly at 4.2 GHz in turbo mode. Stays plenty cool with standard heatsink and fan that comes with the CPU. Very Satisfied with this purchase

Easy Installation. work well with DDR-4 (3600)

If you are looking for the best performance on a budget, this is your chip. I built two systems with similar hardware except for the CPU - one with this and the other with a core 7 265. I can't tell a difference in Star Citizen, one of the most demanding games on a CPU.

Even without a GPU, it still runs most of my games at 1080p, (on low settings) at 60fps. I paid full price, 350, but this processor was still worth it.

First AMD processor I've owned in many years. Intel doesn't have anything better. I'm happy with the 5900x. I went from a 9900k to this and real world, I don't see much difference. I've been thru hell with x570 motherboards. I've had to RMA 4 of them. Make sure the board you buy has the BIOs flashback feature and that it works. Save yourself a bunch of head aches. I ended up with the ASUS x570 crosshair VIII Dark. Not a bad board but flash the BIOS before you install the cpu, memory or anything else.

The processing power of this chip lends well to both gaming and business functions (spreadsheets, graphics, etc.).

Was a brand new item, of previous manufacture, in an unopened package. With a BIOS update, dropped right into the place of the old i3-2120. Now I can get back into BF4 again!

Cost Effective (Well - relatively; everything is too expensive now but I digress.) Has a GPU that will work well for a productivity platform. Has 8 threads which is good for software development on LINUX.
