Price, reviews, and it is what I needed. My old NAS was a 2 Bay with drives about 4 -5 years old, it has data I do not want to lose, so I backed it up, then set up a new RAID and copied everything back. I plan to get one more IronWolf drive to expand storage. This NAS has built in disk management for IronWolf drives so that is a plus. Very easy to set up
