Laptops lack the extended number of ports and this has made such a big difference in my working environment. Not it is so much easier to connect my laptop to multiple display to ease my work. Plus the extra USB ports are a gem. It reproduces High quality video on both the screens. Also appreciate that is has both display port and HDMI for future and present support. Also it supports 5k resolution as well and is pretty smooth as well (tested it on a friends monitor) but you need the hardware for that. It supports It has 2 sets of HDMI and Display ports, 6 USB 3.0 ports (A great feature for the USB port deprived laptops), Audio port (Mic in and output, 5.1 channel), An Ethernet port which supports Gigabit speeds and supports input from both my windows laptop and macbook and also my Galaxy s8. It is also very light and small compared to its features and is very easy to carry.

I originally purchased another product, the Wavlink HDMI USB 3.1 docking station, for use with my ASUS laptop which I wanted to link via a USB 3.1 Type C connection. That setup did not work for me, and I messaged the Wavlink support team for assistance. Wavlink's customer service researched the issue with their engineering team and checked with ASUS for my particular laptop, and found a documented reason why my laptop would not work (the problem was with ASUS, not Wavlink). They then suggested this docking station, which I have set up and is working very well for me - I use it to link to my monitor via USB 3.0 input and HDMI out, plus connecting a keyboard and mouse. The dock is well made and contains all the setup instructions, software and cables. But I am particularly impressed by their customer service, which greatly exceeded my expectations when researching my original issue. Thanks to Selina and Daisy for their professional support!

I am a Windows user but recently had to take up support for Apple MacBook's. I use three monitors to do my work\support and my new MacBook would not let me use the three monitors, just the MacBook screen and one external monitor. I tried just about everything and nothing worked. Someone told me about this Wavlink docking station, so I tried it and WOW, I was able to use all three monitors with little effort to get the dock to work with my MacBook and it also works with my Window's laptop, so now all I do is unplug one machine and plug in the other and I just get to work!! What a great dock, highly recommend!!

Worked with Rog Strix G16. Charges laptop and displayed on dual monitor set-up. Uses USB-C to connect to laptop making barrel port unnecessary. Small metal box construction is nice.
