I've used this without a hiccup for almost two years to boot an old Z68 motherboard from a Silicon Power P34A80 SSD (UEFI BIOS mod required). I chose this over competing products for its minimalist design, ease of installation/removal (no screwdriver required), and the cooling slots, which happened to line up perfectly with the ICs on the back side of my SSD.
