Works, and gives me more USB ports.

I bought 3 of these for 3 different computers, 2 gaming rigs and 1 HDTV pc. -Works great, alot better than I expected. I was concerned with all the bad reviews I read. -Mounting was very easy on an LG, and Acer Monitor, 3rd on was mounted on a fireplace with the hdtv pc hidden behind the tv. -Seems sturdy enough. -The blue power light thats on it (front, dead center) it is not that bright at night, even if it was... a dab of black paint or maybe a perm marker would take care of that.

Can be used with or without external power hookup (I use it without) Good choice for laptops with limited USB ports

I recently bought a system from newegg. It had three USB sockets on the bottom. Not enough and a little low for where I mounted my system. I double-sided stuck this USB hub to the side of my desk. Perfect! Then I found out that the USB sockets stay active even when the system power is off. Having each new USB port switched on-off is great! I have five USB devices plugged in, but I only switch-on the one I'm using! Perfect plus!!! (my cell phone and all my other USB components say Thank You)

Cord may be a little short for some users, but the length is perfect for my needs and cuts down on cable tangle. Comes with a piece of double sided tape that I didn't even know I needed. This keeps it stuck to the side of my case instead of flopping around the desk. Hasn't randomly dropped connection like most hubs.

With this USB 3 Hub you can connect a External Hard Drive to do a Windows Backup Image and connect a USB Pendrive to da a download (Download Ebooks, Program's, Videos, Music Documents)

I haven't used this for very long. It works so far.

- Has every port I need, including USB-A and USB-C ports. - Ports are spaced out nicely so that everything fits. (I have another adapter that packs them too closely, so I can't use the USB-A and HDMI ports next to each other.) - It's no bigger than it needs to be, given all the ports. It opts to arrange ports on both sides, rather than put them all on one side and increase the size.
