- High quality construction. - Actually uses a good connector for something that gets fiddled with (USB 3 type B). - Switches. I use them to turn off my USB mic and wireless controllers (some games don't like certain ones) - A lot of ports. It's like power strips. No, I don't need a 20-port power strip, but if I have 4 AC adapter bricks, then up to 12 slots might get taken by them. Some flash drives or wireless dongles are the same kind of annoying. - Separate AC brick with the block inline, rather than taking 4 slots like mentioned.

Unlike most of the other hub makers, Orico usually supplies status light to show positive activity. I like to glance at the hub to make certain I have a good working connection.
