Does what it's supposed to do. Cord is very short so' an extension cable is appropriate. No negs yet. Buttons illuminate blue. They are push on / push off. Off no light.
I have already purchased more than one because they have been good products I got one my son wanted one and then my brother wanted one they all love them and I will probably easy to use now I have more than one device hooked up able to save all work without problems
usb3. 7 ports. powered
Good price. Work great.
- USB 3.0 (2 USB-A/2 USB-C) - Smooth, spartan looks - Makes use of empty 3.5" drive bay in old HP case - Easy install - Quality design/material - Comes with mounting screws - Connects to 19-pin USB 3.0 MB connector to a USB-A connector on unit - Utilizes SATA for extra power
- small form factor with tiny blue led status light - simple & easy to use, just plug & play - decent documentation with power max power explicitly mentioned as 900mA for all four ports - relatively inexpensive - used an externally powered hard drive, desktop microphone and game controller w/o issue - 18 month warrenty
sturdy build, power button.
It has all the functions I've needed. Compact and no effort. Using it with a Macbook Pro.
I needed more USB ports on my Synology NAS, this turned 1 USB port into 7 Since most devices use very little bandwidth, this hub has tons left over for a 2.5G USB network adapter. Small, no noise, loads of speed and ports, never heats up. Ideal!
Pros: - External power (5V/4A) - No errors from my phone about needing to use a better charger - Ports on two sides and on top, so you've got space for that one weird plug - There's an on/off switch. I'm not sure this is a pro, but there it is - There's a little status LED so you know if it's on/working or not - Comes with different power outlet adapters if you are outside USA
