The Stage 2 Actually works, with the 270k. I had the 265K and could not get it to work other than just be in windows and be a browser. Just the cpu swap, reinstalled the latest bios, (which I already had), Now doing Stage2, and asrock extreme voltage. Gives me everything the 200s boost had to offer, and freedom to go farther with the ram voltages. Currently only doing 7600mhz with xmp timings for 7200 stock m-die 24gb per stick of gskill.

I replaced a bad MSI board. Instruction manual was easy to read, and overall the machine performance seems a bit better than the busted MSI Board. Love the pcie 5.0 release button. Drivers are packaged to install at first boot. So far running great.

I really was amazed about this motherboard . It had some purple on it and really had everything you would need on it including a start and reset button right on the board awesome!!

Nice motherboard. No frills, no blingy RGB. Just what I needed to build a media server, paired up with an Intel Ultra 5 225. The build booted up first try, no problems with memory compatibility like other reviewers have reported. I'm using a Crucial Pro 2 × 16GB kit that ISN'T listed on the QVL, but it works great. Memory is Crucial part # CP2K16G64C32U5B (Newegg part $ N82E16820156450). I love the spring-loaded M.2 quick release pins. No need for a screwdriver or the pivot locking mechanism that MSI has on its other boards. Overall, I very pleased with the motherboard. It's reasonably priced and has a nice feature set. So far it's been rock solid stable being on 24/7.

Very well built RGB of course! Lots of USB option on the front and back Works great with I5 9600k Wifi worked out of the box haven't tested Bluetooth

- Smaller than most M-ATX - M.2 storage - NGFF wireless - 1 power cable - Passive cooling - Expansion opportunities

- Cost - Features - Thunderbolt at 40 GBPS - WIN - M.2 slots

Supports PCIE Gen 4 Supports 11th gen Intel processors Really good build quality Looks amazing!

-cheap -good brand -looks good (black)

This is the second of these boards that I have used to build a system with -- it's hard to beat for the price. I used G-Skill Trident Z5 RGB memory modules and it's good to go.

Good one for me

Affordable price Excellent workmanship Stable and easy-to-use BIOS

The rgb on the motherboard looks really good the pcie button makes installing larger cards such as the 5090 much easier to do

Ease of use? Simple install. Mounting holes for lga 1700 and 1200 is really nice. Perfect board to upgrade to 12th gen.

I followed all reviews and compared all Z790 motherboards for cost vs performance for weeks. This MSI Z790 Carbon is the best for the price, with 19+1+1 phases design @ 105 amps each puts it right up there with the $1K motherboards, I plan on using 32MB of DDR 6600 MHz but this motherboard can go up to DDR5 7600 MHz, that's awesome fast! The MSI Z790 Carbon is future-proof with 4 M.2 GEN.4 slots and a GEN. 5 M.2 slot I can't wait to try the GEN. 5 M.2. I purchased this MSI Z790 Carbon to push my 13700K to 5.8 MHz or higher if possible and plan on buying a 13900K when the price drops this motherboard will overclock both the i7 and i9 13th generation with ease as long as you keep the CPU cool. Rember MSI sells a great line of liquid AIO coolers. Thanks for listening and always remember you must overclock and then Game On!
