So first and foremost this my first time using an nvme drive since it came out in the earlies, I always watch these youtube pc building videos and saw the guys using these drives. The price I got it at was very good so I bought two and when it arrived slotting them in was a bit scary I didn't want to break it on my first try but eventually I got around that fear and installation was very easy. I installed linux mint OS on one and used the other for steam games and. Booting the desktop and launching steam games was just a few seconds operating temperature was normal. Also its quit small and cute for it size.

I purchased this NVME SSD because the price was great and I wanted to upgrade in size. I use it as the boot drive for my Lenovo laptop which only supports NVME Gen 3 x4. Gen 4 would not have given me any more performance. I have been happy with the performance.

The USB interface took some effort and was difficult to test prior to installing it in the computer to replace an old 2T drive but in the end, when the SSD was installed it worked just as they said it would. The longest part was the 5 hours of copying over from one drive to the other. My old computer will live again to fight another day saving thousands of dollars.
