This is the best enclosure that I have come across! I can quickly insert a HDD and it will connect immediately. I can then remove the HDD and insert a SSD and it will connect immediately as well, all at "true" USB 3.0 speed. I purchased 2 of these and both have performed flawlessly for more than a year now, and that includes swapping drives into and out of the case as I see fit. It even comes with the USB 3.0 cable that is just the right length for laptop work. I am purchasing another one, even though the price has gone up 50% simply because they are soooo good to work with as an enclosure.

- It feels well build - Easy to install the m.2 drive into, came with all tools needed. - so far had no issues adding the spare m.2 drives I had lying around. Now using them as large USB drives basically. Even using one as a game drive for more space for steam installs. - speed feels decent, don't expect amazing speeds with these as they are limited by USB 3.1

Easy to put new drives in and works well. USB3 is definitely faster than USB2 I was using.

Just works. Comes with clear instructions (once you read the correct side) and feels fairly durable. The lights for the % done is bright enough and clear.

I like how easy this enclosure is to setup. The lid actuates with ease, and takes multiple sizes of hard drives. This allows me to have my multiple hard drives for different purposes and quickly plug and unplug when I need access to their data. Im very pleased with this enclosure. Highly recommend this product.

The cable is great to have both a USB-C and USB-A outputs. The plastic rotating foot is far more manageable than a tiny screw than can be lost.

My PC was starting to throw boot errors. A couple drive tests suggested the drive was going bad so I ordered this along with a replacement 2.5" drive. It arrived, I plugged it in with the old, failing drive in slot one, the new drive right out of the shipping packaging in slot two, and pressed the clone button. No PC in between driving anything. No setup software or processes. In what seemed like maybe 30-45 minutes, I had a functional new hard drive replacement. I put the new, now-cloned drive back in the PC, powered up the PC and no more boot-up errors. I set aside the old drive and within an hour of receiving this in the mail, I was returning the PC to its owner. Very impressive! Thank you!

Bought the F4-424 and D4-320 to replace my DS-413 and AS1004T, took me about 3 days to move all drives from the Synology and Asustor to Terramaster. (not going to mention how to transfer all the files). Anyway, one traid volume 1 with F4-424 and another traid volume 2 with D4-320, they work fine. By the way F4-424 is a very good Plex server.
