Professional looking packaging and nicely built case (not like some of those cheaply made from China). Easy to use, no need to read manual. Has blue light, which blinks when drive in use. Connected to my MacBook Pro via USB hub, all 3 work right away. Note: my 7 port USB hub is AC powered. Also, works just fine if connected directly to Mac USB. Works with New 4TB Seagate, Older 2TB Hitachi and 7 years old 700+ GB Toshiba, which is much slower that newer HHDs but still OK. By the way, top lid slides in and out easily, which mean you can swap HHDs right on the spot without braking apart enclosure. Great feature - already used it once at friend's house. His enclosure had a broken port, so PC could not read drive. We swapped drives and "Boom" he got access to his files again.

First use was to create a windows 11 system image from an M2 C: to D: on this device. Now I have this to examine those old SSD SATA and M2 drives without opening the PC case. Works on spin SATA drives as well. Also used to clone a 512GB M2 to a 2TB M2.

Easily slides open incest m.2 card, it comes with tools to screws to mount. If u are in a bind you don't need to totally assemble for it to work! But for safety please mount! Made my old M.2 stick into a big memory stick, it is useful again!
