Convenient to have, setup of ports for IP cameras super easy. Wifi and hardwire networking both equally fast this thing is a beast with a intel processor. I have a 1.2gb network speed and this setup makes everything work without struggling for bandwidth or loading speeds. The modem was purchased because Spectrum could not supply a rental for a summer cottage. The old Spectrum modem was outdated and the buffers would overflow, stopping the internet and causing havoc among the younger members of the family. I bought this modem, installed it, and then called Spectrum to give them the MAC address and get signed on to their network. The modem works great, even on the rural speeds of 8 up and 50 down. Once I got past the customer service folks, this is working great!
