Easy of use. Comprehensive and easy to manage user interface. Very good performance, and a very quickly increasing hardware/software portfolio. Integration with Ubiquti's vast array of gear, including the best by far integration with their POE cameras. Easy setup of VLans and Port Forwarding. Not quite as cheap as the junk routers out there, but vastly cheaper than the big boys who have nose-bleed prices with capabilities anywhere near as close.

Went from 37 to 470 on farthest desk from router, and can access 100% of the speed I pay for in internet wirelessly now. Upgraded from N to BE. Wireless garage spotlight has better connectivity, and dedicated lights network to run IO. Pretty sure the WiFi is even faster then I am seeing. Very happy. Can combine 2.4 and 5g networks for auto speed boisting.

I can now take advantage of my 2.5 G internet service. I have an Asus mesh system that works perfectly with this router.

Easy installation, easy ip reservation for my other wifi router, speeds are great, ui is very easy to understand.

It is much faster than my very old one. It also has a strong signal all over my 1700 SF one story rambler. The ad said it was back ordered. But it was available very quickly and via standard shipping it came in a few days. I am using a VPN and they play nice together.

-using linux or window 11 the 6e speeds are faster then a general wired connection -dual 10g ports + 2.5g wan is amazing giving you up to 9x 2..5g connections using a 10g to 2.5g unmanaged switch -Nice UI for dash panel, fancy, and fairly easy to find everything you need.

Performance-wise from what I can tell, the RT-BE58U is stripped down RT-BE92 - it lacks the 6 GHz channel and has half the bandwidth (160 MHz vs 320 MHZ), but it's WiFi7 in every other respect. Appropriately it's half the price, and current compatibility is most important. Having many "legacy' devices that still get the job done and nothing needing 6 GHz, this hits the sweet spot for me.

This is the second RT-BE92 that I have installed in the past two weeks (April/May 2026). The first one is my main mesh network router, connected directly to the fiber network. The one I am reviewing is mesh networked about 75-100 feet away, by my livestock barn. The connection is GREAT! This WiFi-7 mesh network is supplemented by two other WiFi6 routers (RT-AX55). This router works very well! My connections are "near" instant! I can cover about 7 acres, without interruption and another several acres marginally, including remote areas with the mesh network that I have established.

- will act as your main router - will route a network behind your main router - will act as a wireless AP behind your other router - will connect as a WiFi client to another system and then provide WiFi and wired ports to its clients (network extender, or "WISP mode") - The web interface has an easy way to choose among the above options and simple configuration for the option I'm using (as the network extender using WiFi to talk to upstream) - good speed for the money - actually getting reasonably close to the full speed rating for the distance it's sitting away from the upstream router/AP - feels pretty solidly built - reasonable features for the price point and the flexibility is the main feature I was wanting
