Coverage is great even without a mesh! I could probably support all the houses on our block. Spendy, but worth every penny IMO.

4 Channels of Wifi 6E dual 10gig ports Lan Link aggregation

Have set this beast of a router. I think it looks amazing where I have it. - wonderful that it has more than the standard 4 or 5 ports than the normal router. - does exactly what i need. 3 hard wired computers, a NAS, and a backup NAS. -WIFI works wonders. Multiple alexa's, phones, laptops, and other devices.

Much faster than my Google Wi-Fi 6ghz can really boost my Wi-Fi 6e speed at 980 mbps!

Super fast and smooth It just works

6GHz band works better than previous 6e router.

This is a fast and powerful router. I am running AT&T Fiber 2 Gig plan and get the full speed up and down connected to the 10 Gig port set up as WAN. I am also using the other 10 Gig port connected to a 2.5 GB 8 port Switch. I have to turn on IP passthrough on the AT&T modem to get my Xbox series X not to have Double NAT. Wifi6E is fast on the 6GZ band. At close range I get 1010 down and 1350+ megs up on my Galaxy S22 Ultra. The range is good on my 2 story house for the 5 and 2.5 bands as well. Downstairs I get 850 to 900 plus down and 1020 megs up on the 6GZ band. My Xbox series 10 was getting like 840 to 850 up and down speed consistently. I do not know the wifi range on really big houses.

Full performance for my fiber internet, ASUS app and setup is very user friendly and straight forward. Follow the quick installation and youll be up and running in very little time. Paid for 1GB of fiber internet and, for example, download speeds through the Nighthawk AC2300 was at max approximately 600MBS. Through testing and actual download speeds, Im at my full 1GB download speed. Amazing product and half the cost of trying to upgrade to a Nighthawk RS600. Netgear has great products but this got me modern WiFi 7, full performance, and at a good cost compared to other routers.

Performance-wise from what I can tell, the RT-BE58U is stripped down RT-BE92 - it lacks the 6 GHz channel and has half the bandwidth (160 MHz vs 320 MHZ), but it's WiFi7 in every other respect. Appropriately it's half the price, and current compatibility is most important. Having many "legacy' devices that still get the job done and nothing needing 6 GHz, this hits the sweet spot for me.

- Stable and fast connection across all bands - Easy to set up it took about 10 minutes to get everything running and another 30 minutes to explore different channel configurations (like combining 6GHz channels under one SSID) - I love the ASUS Router app it has everything I need, so there's no need to use the web interface at all

This is the second RT-BE92 that I have installed in the past two weeks (April/May 2026). The first one is my main mesh network router, connected directly to the fiber network. The one I am reviewing is mesh networked about 75-100 feet away, by my livestock barn. The connection is GREAT! This WiFi-7 mesh network is supplemented by two other WiFi6 routers (RT-AX55). This router works very well! My connections are "near" instant! I can cover about 7 acres, without interruption and another several acres marginally, including remote areas with the mesh network that I have established.

Easy to set up and plenty of sections within to customize your router. I have only done the basics so far. But this, in my opinion, was worth the $$$. Thanks to the 100 off code, that saved me a bit.

- Easy set-up with Asus app - Gaming and/or Work from Home prioritization with app - Connected with old AI Mesh router - 1 input Ethernet port - 7 output Ethernet ports - Great Wi-Fi coverage

Fast shipping, exactly what I expected, good quality, setup in minutes

Great router I have it back hauled with be96u and its working great so far

- super easy setup using tether app - great coverage and speed - simple to navigate app - easy to read lights and set up - affordable

i like the ping fixers they offer, such as connecting to closest servers. The security features are cool and all but for someone who hosts servers alot it tends to get annoying. If you are ok with looking things up to get it running how you would like (hosting) then its a great router and i enjoy it alot myself.
