I bought this for my wife's desktop so it can be used during power outages. It works great. It gives her internet and Bluetooth (for her mouse). FYI, the internet we use during power outages isn't as fast as our normal internet. So, getting a higher speed adapter would not help.

These replaced an ASUS RT-AC88U. The online interface is nearly identical so transitioning from old to new was easy.
