This product saved time in cloning a replacement 2TB SSD for my new laptop (1TB SSD factory installed) and giving me the comfort and space I needed for this new machine. Would recommend to anyone looking to do the same. BTW, now using that same factory installed 1TB SSD in this enclosure as a memory stick and it is FAST!
Fast, easy to install, good price,
It's fast.
SSD - plugs right into the motherboard Worked right off the bat.
- Much faster than my other SATA drives.
Nice budget SSD
I bought the 2TB version last year to use for image renders, animation creation and video game storage. The drive itself is capable of faster speeds than my older 2.0 compatible MB, so I don't get it's full potential. But it is still very fast, faster than my SATA SSD, and I have no complaints.
I used two of these SSDs in my Core 2 Duo and my Pentium 4 Builds which are running Windows XP, and they work beautifully with it. May not be the one for Modern PC's. But if you're using something like a Core 2, Athlon 64 or Pentium 4, these are great for that.
Compatible with and L340 15API laptop AMD version. Use as a separate boot system, so I can choose Linux or WIndows. Linux is on the NVMe.
The Crucial P310 is a great SSD for its price. This is a drive that boasts fast reads of up to 7,100MB/s and writes up to 6,000MB/s. This GEN4 NVMe is for PCIe-capable lanes and can be compared as 20x faster than a common SATA SSD. This drive is easy to install for anyone on laptops, consoles, and desktops. There are other options available in 500GB and 2TB. I tested this drive with a multitude of games, and the load times were quick and the games installed very fast. When tested, all the speeds match up (see picture). Overall, this is a great option for anyone looking for a well-priced, quick, and compatible NVME for their setup.
7gbps reads on an ssd with no dram cools down quick after stress test even with no heatsink
