The hardest part was figuring out where to put it on my MSI Mag X870 Tomahawk motherboard. I have never installed a M.2 hard drive, since my last build was before they were around. I strongly recommend installing before putting in other things like video cards to save yourself the issue of needing to remove them to gain access to the ports. It is also a good idea to see what location is best to install, but the online guides indicated that the location closest to the CPU is preferred. That makes sense for minimizing the signal distance.

Very fast, the optional software worked well and device tested at high-end of expected speed, no errors whatsoever. Can be a great price, seemed top 5.0 NVMe when I looked various sites and reviews. I was very busy that day, buying all sorts of items, wish I HAD done a simple math thing, the marginal cost for the EXTRA TB of larger one (2TB) WOULD have been the one I SHOULD have bought, for my needs.
