Does everything it is supposed to. I have no way of measuring the actual joule surge this thing is capable of preventing, but power wise it does its job nicely. Lots out outlets for my computer, printer, desk lamp and whatever else.

Nice wide spacing between some of the outlets if you have to plug in large adapters along with smaller plugs, so you don't lose any plugs to large adapters. Also has a flat plug into the wall so it doesn't protrude far from the outlet, nice if you have a desk right up against it.

Have been using Isobar metal surge suppressors along with other supressor designs (non-MOV) for over 15 years. I have seen the Isobars in action. A friend's house was hooked up 'incorrectly' at the pole, and everything electric in the house was destroyed, including the refrigerator and stove. That was no everyday "surge"; it was a voltage onslaught. The surviving equipment: stereo rack, which was hooked to the isobar. The isobar was a charred crisp inside. Stereo rack components: all in perfect condition.

Easy to install Keeps your expensive POE switch protected from lightning strikes to outside cameras and APs

It has a cord long enough where you can have options where you put your PC and other peripheral plug ins. I like the space they p[provide so that you can plug in the blocky power supplies for peripherals without blocking the space for other products to plug in.

These devices provide isolation from power surges, line noise, under/over voltage conditions, etc. LEDs indicate activity. Also includes internal isolation, so that line noise produced by the devices plugged into its six outlets does not spread between them. I've been using two of these for many years in my home, to protect my computers and audio/video gear. During that time, I've had the power supplies of various items die, but only in devices *not* plugged into these line conditioners. Nothing plugged into them has failed; maybe that's just a coincidence, but it's consistent with the manufacturer's claims, and common sense. Also, although my house has completely modern wiring (all installed and thoroughly inspected in a remodeling six years ago), I still hear the relays in these devices clicking from time-to-time as they automatically correct for under/over-voltage conditions, so there's no question that they are isolating my devices from undesirable electrical conditions.

Front and rear power. nice beefy power cord, protected power switch

works great!

Very rugged product. Been using Tripp Lite for years without any failures during many power interruptions.

Needed something better than your standard UPS surge protection for my eGPU and Laptop. When laptop not in use can switch off power to both devices. Works as intended.

Sleak and stylish!
