Great, solid construction. Fast speed (gigabit!), many ports, plug and play, low power consumption. My set up: Motorola Sufboard Modem - Cisco E3000 Wireless router - TP-Link 8 Port Switch. I replaced my 5 port Trendnet switch to run this TP-Link switch. I had 5 devices running out of the switch: 3 PCs, DLink Ethernet over Home wiring system, 1 HDHomerun Prime. I moved these devices to the TP-Link without troubles. Everything was plug n play and worked as expected. The build quality of the TP-Link is better than my older Trendnet device. It also has more ports which is nice since I have added another PC (Laptop) to the router. One of the best attributes of this router is its power save function. If you are trying to "go green" this device will help you attain that goal, with excellent performance
