Got here in 2 days. Put it in and it is working well so far. Got 7 years of continuous use of the one it replaced. Hope to get at least this long with these new batteries. Came in at 85% charged. After plugged for an hour it went to 100%. So, no issues.

- it slides right in - it seems to be the genuine product as advertised

Ordered two in April. Both are still working and holding charges.

After extracting the UPS from the shelving, the hardest part was getting the never-opened battery compartment open and the cracked, swollen failed battery pack out and cleaning the compartment, it was trivial to slide this replacement pack in.

dropped it in and it worked

I thought the unit had to be tossed, or recycled, but the internet revealed that a simple replacement was available.

I own 2 of these for my shop, and two of the older generations of the same specs. If everyone knew about these and how important they are when you have a computer or entertainment system, I would have a lot less work coming into the shop! LOL At 179.00 Newegg offers this item way under the ERP that Tripp Lite has listed on their site!

It does what it says. I have a few of these and I checked them out with a multimeter and this thing holds a steady 120VAC while the circuit it's on is subjected to rigerous varying demand. I don't know if I'd use this in a commercial environment but it's good for home use. I would especially recommend if you live in an older building, a home where the power situation might not be perfect, or have high power demands on a particular circuit. I use to have lots of issues with electronic devices dying over the years in appartments I lived in. A year, maybe two, on components that, given their light to moderate use, should have lasted much longer. Especially powersupplys. I started litering these things and their bigger more expensive cousins over my house and devices stopped dying. I even put this behind a 300watt AB powered subwoofer and noticed a huge difference in output (analog amps love clean power). SmartUPS works for a PC, but most put these on the other elec devices!

Just what the ad says, a battery for a APC UPS...

- Great packaging, fast delivery.

It works. It came fully charged (APC's literature made it seem like it would have to be charged for 6-8 hours before running self-test.)
