I've had this drive for two months now. Drive IS UHD (4K) friendly and came with software from the seller. Had a snag with the software, sent an email @ 9pm, had the solution at 7AM the following morning. To be honest, the email was time stamped 1AM. So in summary, it does what they say it does, if you have a problem Support is there to help. Can't ask for more than that in the age of Covid.
