Not as flimsy as I thought from reading other reviews but bought the protection plan anyways because it was cheap enough! This little thing works great! plug and play and you get two types of cords for your needs. has little rubber stoppers on the bottom so it doesn't slide around, I don't know what that other person was talking about it does not slide around. Best of all it matches our Asus laptop lol all fancy like

I used this to play dozens of DVDs and HD Blu-rays on Linux and encountered no issues whatsoever. The speed and the level of noise were acceptable.

Ready to use out of the box. Works very well. I was able to read older CD-RW that I couldn't read with other drives. Fast and reliable (and very reasonable in price!).

It is what it is, an external drive. Wife needed one for her laptop. Works great!

If You Plan on Ripping a Blu Ray, there are Essentially Limited Options for what they Call Friendly 4K UHD Drives. Search Google and with research You Will Find that there are Essentially Two Drive Manufacturers these Days, and Only One of them has been Friendly, LG and Asus Models made by LG. Search the Forum on MakeMKV. This Drive is the newer Ultra Slim 9 millimeter Height, and to Save You From Ordering the Wrong Size, Measure the Height of the Opening to Be Sure this will Fit Correctly as the other 12.7 millimeter Slim Size WILL make a Difference.

plug and play works great defanatluy a upgrade with the new dvd'less computers. growing up with dvd's and cd's having to download all your favorites was getting annoying now a big hard drive, and a huge collection . I defiantly recommend Intendvision dvd player

When it arrived it so well packed that it took me 5 minutes to be able to open it. I was surprise of the quality and the nice look of that dvd writer. The usb type c is a nice feature but it also work on usb 3.0 for poeple that does not have a type c. The quality of the material is high end and nice to look at. I am working with Windows 11 and it was recognize in no time.

- Plug and play - USB C - Software is optional on CD. Will work without it.

Does everything as advertised. Excellent Blu-Ray reader plus still able to burn DVD's.
