comes with Blu ray player software

watching 4k blurays on my laptop that didnt have an optical drive has been very nice

Cheaper than the Apple drive.

Brand new in box. Excellent Condition. Writes and Reads.

Plug and Play makes it easy to use.

plug and play works great defanatluy a upgrade with the new dvd'less computers. growing up with dvd's and cd's having to download all your favorites was getting annoying now a big hard drive, and a huge collection . I defiantly recommend Intendvision dvd player

Plug and Play and easy to use. Nice Portable unit with built in USB C cable.

Works like a charm. Plug it in and it is ready to go. Blu-ray requires Third party software. I chose "Toast 18 Titanium" Pricy but runs and burns Blu-Ray.

I have used it that must, but when I needed it, it was great. It was much better than the Samsung Toshiba slime and tiny one which did not have a drawer, which was nothing but problems and cost one hundred dollars. Even though I got this back in March it is the same reasonable price. I had a rebate possible for ten dollars but never sent in the documentation, but for ASUS when I had in the past, this was also smooth. I also have a white ASUS portable DVD player that doesn't burn, but also works well. I have had an ASUS netbook and an Acer ultrabook, neither of which have a optical player built in. small size

Worked with no problem.

Decent price. USB 3.0

* I like that is is so compact. That is the main reason I purchased this - so I could get my older (and very large) writer off my desk. * I have not had any issues with it so far, but will update the review if I start to have any.

It does its job, plane and simple. Most if not just about all new systems no longer come with a CD/DVD drive due to lack of interest. But we found ours after cleaning out a storage unit and finding dozens of old photo cds from our old family albums. So for a few bucks with this product were able to retrieve twenty years of photos and put them on the cloud within a day. The product works just as we needed it. We also used it to watch dvds on the computer over the weekend.

It is what it is, an external drive. Wife needed one for her laptop. Works great!
